On July 28, 2024 Franklin R&R hosted their Girls, Guys & Guns event, a community service program for adults eager to learn firearm safety and handgun shooting. After an hour or so of classroom instruction each student was assigned a personal coach to further their learning experience on the shooting range. The novice shooters gained confidence under the watchful eyes of their coaches and safety officers and at the end of the day many bullet-hole-filled targets went home to hang on the refrigerator or wall.
Programs such as this are made possible by grants from the NRA which supply ammo and equipment and by the members of Franklin R&R who donate their time and expertise as coaches and safety officers. A big "thank you" to all who volunteered their time to make this day a success!
