2022 Girls, Guys, & Guns Summer Event

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 virus Franklin R&R was finally able to hold a Girls, Guys & Guns Event on Sunday, July 17, 2022. This hands-on introduction to firearms is provided free of charge as a community service to men and women who are interested in learning about the shooting sports. The basics of handgun safety are taught in the classroom and then Franklin R&R members provide personal coaching for each student as they try their skills at bullseye target shooting on the range. A great afternoon was enjoyed by all. The necessary equipment and ammunition are made possible by grant money received from the Friends of NRA.
