Hi All,
Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, June 2, in the Republican Primary. If you are currently registered "undeclared" (as opposed to Democrat or Independant ) you can declare affiliation on Tuesday at the same place where you normally vote. If you want to change any time after that you can, no problem. We have an opportunity to advance 2d in New Jersey that we have not seen in a long time and probably won't see again for a decade if it passes us by.

I have spoken to Steve Lonegan as well as having compared his and Chris Christie's websites. For me and I suspect most of the members of FR&R, gun rights are a major issue. Lonegan has unequivocally stated (as does his website) that he supports the second amendment and will sign a right to carry bill if the legislature will put one on his desk. Christie has made no such representation and gun rights do not warrant any mention on his website. I would expect that Christie will mirror the position of most prosecutors from the US Attorney's office (Christie is a former prosecutor)and he will not touch right to carry with a ten foot pole. For this Steve Lonegan gets my vote.

We have a real shot here folks. I don't expect that Christie will be any better than Corzine or McGreevy on gun rights. In my opinion if we have any chance at all at getting a right to carry bill passed in this state that opportunity rests with Steve Lonegan.

Thanks to all,
Dayne Hill
